Responsibilities:
HYBRID role- work 2 days a week from home
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department
- Perform account reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations, close books on monthly basis
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Prepare Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Yearly Financial Statements
- Manage the payroll process and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- ERP System User
- Work closely with plant manager and collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices
-Preferred manufacturing accounting experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA designation preferred)
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Proficiency in using accounting software Quick Books Online
- Ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders
- Knowledge of payroll processing and familiarity with relevant regulations
- Familiarity with governmental accounting is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

They will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance.
The Financial Controller will also provide leadership to the finance team and collaborate with auditors to ensure proper compliance with regulations.
