GMT CORPORATION Job Description JOB TITLE: Manager, FRPA DEPARTMENT: Admin Reports To: CFO I.
Summary The Manager, FRPA (Financial Reporting, Planning, and Analysis) will plan and direct the financial activities of the department as it relates to financial planning, reporting, and analysis reporting to the company CFO.
II.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Financial Reporting (financial statement package, distributions for internal stakeholders and bank, daily scoreboard, etc).
Financial analysis (financial statement variances, MD&A, DB/BI development, etc).
General preparation for monthly internal financial review meetings.
Weekly cash management.
Debt accounting and oversight.
AOP Planning (schedule, budget models, consolidation, interface to financial statements, etc).
Quarterly financial reforecast.
Risk Management (annual renewal data gathering/provision).
Data analysis supporting retrieval and use of system data for various purposes.
Other duties as assigned.
III.
Competencies To perform this job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Data Retrieval and Manipulation- Retrieval, manipulation, and use of various types of data from ERP, EDI, and other systems to support various analyses by sales, finance, and operations teams.
Analytical- Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complete data; Designs work flows and procedures.
Planning/Organizing- Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Plans for additional resources; Set goals and objectives; Organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; Develops realistic action plans.
Quality Management-Employee is responsible for leading or facilitating the work efforts and evaluating/improving the performance of business processes, employees and machines to meet or exceed the goals for the GMT Corporation in a safe, organized, and efficient fashion.
Problem Solving/Strategic Thinking- Analyzes specific business processes for the purpose of identifying the root cause(s) of the problem and assists with the development of recommendations for short and long-term resolution.
Leadership Experience and Style – His/her management style will need to be based on the Servanthood leadership model with characteristics that include transparency, process based, a relentless drive for results, discernment and collaboration at all levels of the organization.
V.
Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree (B.
A.
) from a (4) years college or university of an accredited school, preferably in an Accounting, Finance, and/or Business Analytics discipline.
Previous experience in an FRPA (Financial Reporting, Planning, and Analysis) or related role/experience in a manufacturing environment will be preferential.
Understanding of ERP-type systems in a manufacturing setting and related database structures will be preferential.
Working knowledge of financial statement preparation and supporting processes will be preferential.
Communication Skills Ability to interface and communicate with all levels of the organization to develop strong working relationships that support common-goal achievement.
Computer Skills Proficient in retrieval and manipulation of database information from ERP, EDI, and other company systems.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and MS Office applications.
Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing ERP systems, especially with Infor Syteline, is preferred.
