Description:
Position Purpose:
Provides various materials management functions as assigned for MercyOne.
Will be cross trained to perform functions including receiving, stocking, inventory & supply management, distribution, delivery of supplies & linen, and other functions as assigned.
What you will Do:
Receives orders.
Manages shipping of items from Warehouse or hospital receiving area.
Stocks received items in warehouse.
Processes supply orders and stages for delivery
Maintains warehouse organization and cleanliness.
Warehouse Inventory: cycle counts inventory per established schedule, etc.
Supports intra-organization logistics and distribution.
Supports Mail Operations
Adheres to all safety, infection control and employee health policies and procedures.
Hours/Schedule:
FTE; 80 hours bi-weekly; weekend and holidays rotation may be required; typical shift 8:00am-4:30pm but can vary.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires the ability to read, write, and understand the English language, and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, staff, and physicians while performing their job duties.
Valid Iowa driver’s license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
Basic language, basic math, basic reasoning ability.
Ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work without constant supervision.
