Under the direction of a supervising physician, performs diagnostic and therapeutic medical/psychological services.
Works to ensure patient satisfaction and positive relationships with physicians and staff to help support the delivery of quality patient care.
Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of MercyOne Healthcare.
Position will float as a ARNP/PA within the rural health clinics on a scheduled basis.
Primary care clinics to include but not limited to: MercyOne Independence, MercyOne Jesup, MercyOne Evansdale, MercyOne LaPorte City and MercyOne Dysart.
Additional group clinics include: MercyOne Fairbank, MercyOne Oelwein, MercyOne Arlington, MercyOne Tripoli, MercyOne Waverly, MercyOne Parkersburg, MercyOne Reinbeck and MercyOne Traer.
Requirements:
Graduate of an AMA approved Nurse Practitioner Program or accredited Physician Assistant Training Program.
Iowa licensure required
Possesses Federal and State Controlled Substance prescribing authority
AANP/ANCC or NCCPA Certification, BLS, Mandatory Reporter
EOE/drug screen required
