Welding - 1st Shift Hiring Immediately!! Advance Services is looking for welders to work in a heavy haul trailer manufacturer in Oelwein, Iowa.
This job is responsible for assembling and welding components required to build large steel trailers.
Location: Oelwein, Iowa Pay: $20.
00+ Depending on experience Shift: 1st Shift , 4:00AM/5:00AM - TBD Responsibilities: * Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project * Assemble and fabricate large metal structures using a various equipment such as MIG welders, grinders, torches, arc cutting and measuring tools.
* Responsible for manufacturing products according to the specifications and standards of the customers.
* Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints.
* Lifting and carrying heavy items and moving components by operating an overhead crane.
* Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
* Maintains safe and clean working environment.
* Wear proper personal protective equipment.
* Ability to work overtime as required including Saturdays.
Education and Experience Requirements: * High School diploma or equivalent * Previous welding experience * Basic understand of Shop Math.
* Ability to read and understand blueprints and specification.
