As a 2nd shift Lead Welder at Trinity, you’ll apply appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches using manual, automatic welding, and/or semi-automatic welding equipment.
Hours are Monday – Friday from 2p-10:30p.
What you’ll do:
Lead a team by assigning tasks
Assist in the completion of all tasks to meet deadlines
Maintain and improve quality
Train lower levels
Make welds to stainless and carbon steel
Repair aluminum
Perform TIG welding (stainless and aluminum)
Perform full welds to subassemblies and to the tank
Hand weld in all positions, fillet and groove
Perform repairs to subassemblies for final product
Perform oxy-fuel welding
Perform carbon arc welding
Conduct multiple NDE tests
Follow all safety rules and practices
May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
Minimum of 4 years of experience
